This morning, #JacquireKing gave us three straight hours of conversation and stories and advice and answers to our questions. Super nice, gracious, and thoughtful guy. A real class act.
We had a nice lunch reception catered by the Guitar Center Custom House, and then got to play with the wax cylinder recording apparatus in the afternoon.
And that concludes the classroom portion of the program. I'm helping track in the studio on Monday and Wednesday and then graduating on Friday.
So I guess I am officially hunting an internship now. I had better get on that. Tips, leads, and contacts appreciated.
Oh, and tomorrow night I am recording my 12yo niece in studio H because I can and that will be cool for her. So I may be spending much of tomorrow turning the demos she sang into her dad's phone into songs
(I am probably a fair to middling engineer but I'm an awesome uncle)
@venya she will be so excited, that's brilliant. I remember when my eldest neice had her first baby and I literally became a Great Uncle!
